I am a political scientist working on political organisations, youth mobilisation and social science methodology. I am a PhD candidate at the chair for empirical political science at University Duisburg-Essen.

I studied politics and history at the universities of Aachen, Prague and Potsdam between 2003-2010. After that I combined my interest (and knowledge from previous studies) in mathematics and programming with my social science background and my passion for the mechanisms of political organisations. I am interested in the individual perspective on institutional and organisational dynamics, and especially in how to measure and analyse it based on existing data.

I work as a Senior Advisor in the student support department of the Hans Böckler Foundation, an organisation I have been working for since 2010. Previous work included different applied research projects for political parties and trade unions as well as positions as trainer and advisor in the area of quality assurance in higher education. I am trained in diversity oriented career coaching, peer coaching and in solution focused counseling. Currently I am on sabbatical leave for the purpose of my PhD studies.
